| Tip: Question: Do you know why horses do not need hooves trimmed in the wild? Answer: They travel long distances everyday to find food & water. Over rocks and hills which keeps hooves worn down. If hoof problems should happened they could perish. You should have hooves trimmed every 6 to 8 weeks to keep healthier angles, that helps lessen wear and tear on joints and prevents strain on the tendons this also prevents the hooves from splitting or cracking. |
